Questions
Fourteen things people ask first.
What is PlotVisionAI?
An AI landscape visualization and concept design tool. You give it a photo of a real property, say what you want changed, and it renders a concept inside that same frame so a before and after line up. It is built by Landforms Design Inc, a landscape design-build company, and it works on a property anywhere in the world.
Is it finished and can I log in today?
No. This is early access. The site, the pricing and the concept pairs you see are real, but the account and generation app is still in development. There is no working login yet, and the early-access page collects interest rather than creating an account.
How do credits work?
Every plan includes a set number of credits rather than unlimited use. A credit is spent when the tool runs an AI generation or a revision, and the exact credit cost of an action is shown before you confirm it. The free preview includes 3 credits, Starter includes 20 credits for $19 once, the Homeowner Project Pass includes 150 credits, Professional includes 400 credits a month, and the add-on Credit Pack adds another 100 credits.
What does it cost?
A free preview with 3 credits, Starter at $19 once for 20 credits, a Homeowner Project Pass at $89 once per property with 150 credits, Professional at $139 a month with 400 credits, and an add-on Credit Pack at $39 for 100 credits. These are early-access prices and may change; anyone who buys during early access will be told before anything changes.
Do unused monthly credits roll over?
We are not promising rollover yet. Credit metering and billing are still being built, so nothing on this site is metered today and we would rather say that plainly than publish a policy we cannot enforce.
Is checkout secure?
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own hosted checkout page. Card details are never entered on this site and this site does not store payment information. Note that Stripe checkout will not open inside an embedded preview frame, so those buttons open a new tab.
What kind of photo should I send?
A phone photo taken at eye level from where you actually stand and look at the yard. Two or three angles is plenty. Drone stills work too, and are useful for layout questions like whether a court will crowd a pool.
Are the before and after images the same property?
Yes. Every pair on this site holds the property still — same house, same camera position, same light — and changes only the thing being decided. Images that were generated rather than photographed are labelled “AI concept visualization”.
Can a concept be used for permits or construction?
No. A concept settles layout, materials, sight lines and what the household agrees on. It does not settle base depth, drainage engineering, footings, structural wall design, code, setbacks or permits, and it is not a binding price. A licensed contractor still prices and builds the work.
What can I visualize?
Eight categories inside one concept of your property: full backyard schemes, patios and outdoor living, surfaces from driveways to epoxy floors, retaining walls and grade changes, plantings, lawns and flowerbeds, night lighting, fencing, and courts through Backyard Sports Center™. Surfaces covers driveway replacement, widening, resurfacing and overlays, stamped and decorative concrete, pavers, walks, steps, curbs, aprons, parking areas and epoxy floor coatings for garages, workshops, basements and commercial floors.
Do you build the projects too?
PlotVisionAI is a visualization tool, not a construction service, and it can be used on a property anywhere in the world. Landforms Design Inc, the company behind it, does build landscape projects — Darin Chamberlin has worked in landscaping since 1984 and founded the company in February 1995 — but that construction work is a separate, regional business. Take your concept to any contractor you trust.
Who owns the concepts I generate?
You do, for your own project and your own client work. We do not sell your images or attach your property to marketing without asking you first, in writing.
Will my contractor take a concept seriously?
In our experience a picture of the actual yard with notes on it produces a tighter bid than a folder of screenshots from other people’s properties, because two bidders are pricing the same picture.
How do I get in touch?
Call or text (319) 899-4322, email backyardsports@gmail.com, or use the contact form, which opens a draft in your own email app rather than sending anything from this site.

Design anywhere. PlotVisionAI™ for iPhone and Android.
The same workflow as the web tool, in your pocket on site: photograph the yard where you are standing, direct the concept, and spend credits from the same account. Built for homeowners and landscape professionals worldwide.
